OpticEMR, our electronic medical records platform, is running in clinics today. Every other area carries a published status, so what we have built and what we are building are never confused for one another.

OpticEMR — where the charter becomes real
A multi-tenant electronic medical records platform purpose-built for eye care. It brings an entire practice into one connected system rather than bolting billing onto a charting tool — eight modules, all working from the same patient record.
In pilot deployment
Eye care practices across Nigeria are actively piloting the platform today, with real clinical workflows exercising the system ahead of full commercial rollout. It is the proving ground for how we intend to build everything that follows it.
- Multi-tenant security and data isolation — multi-factor authentication and row-level data isolation enforced at the database layer — built in from day one, not retrofitted.
- A jurisdiction-neutral architecture, with pricing and configuration already built for Nigerian, emerging, mid-income, and high-income markets, and tested outside Nigeria during development.
Built by clinicians
Orbit was founded by two practicing clinicians — an optometrist and a physician — and that clinical grounding shapes how the company builds. Engineering rigour and clinical credibility are treated as equally load-bearing; neither is allowed to be the weaker half of anything we ship.
It is why OpticEMR carries published clinical decision tools inside the encounter workflow itself — corneal-thickness-corrected IOP, prescribing guidance, myopia and keratoconus progression tracking — rather than leaving them to a separate calculator on a separate screen.
